Heyo, Elpida here!

Originally from FurAffinity, I've been branching to some other places in order to share my content. I made a DeviantArt account a week back. Now, I'm on here. I've been wanting to make an account for awhile. However, a previous Twitter poll resulted in most folks not being interested in me making an account for here.

I'm actually not "new" to Newgrounds, itself. I've had another account for awhile but that hasn't been active in a long while. That and this one is under my NSFW name handle.

I'm not sure how most folks will react to my fetish content on here. There's not much fat or inflation art I noticed (and I barely know any fellow artist who have a NewGrounds account). Since such content DOES exist on here, I know it's at least tolerated. However, I do plan on creating more art that'd suit a slightly-larger audience.

For awhile, I'm mainly known for full-body inflation and massively-obese blobs. I've drawn regular stuff but not as much (long story-short: motivation, constant fatigue due to health issues, couldn't practice enough, etc). I'm hoping to make a wider selection of content once I've recovered. This doesn't mean I'm abandoning doing fat/inflation stuff; just trying to diversify my content. I'd love to make crazy poses and cool scenarios more but it kinda sucks when you're pigeonholed into doing a very specific thing, thus likely not gaining as much views or comissions lol. However, this isn't the true reason why I've joined.

My main goal for this account is to publish short animations. Depending on the content, some may end up just on Twitter or whatnot if it's too rough. Others might be posted on Newgrounds. I don't exactly know why but while I've learned a bit of animation in the past, few days back...I suddenly got the spark to try again. I don't know if it's because I'm feeling better enough to try and learn or if it's because it's an excuse to make NSFW animations but I think it would be fun trying to learn as much as possible. I don't really plan on working in the animation industry AS an animator. I think it would just be another asset I can use during creations of stuff like sprite sheets, UI, etc. It would also be a cool way to practice poses and staging.

I've always wanted to learn animation but I never really had the proper know-how, long ago. I always just shrugged and assumed I'd never be good, just like with programming. Now, I just wanna make up for all that lost time and create something not only will I enjoy but most will, too.

I don't know if it's a good idea to make content that'd be better under a SFW account where I'd likely get hired and shit. Honestly, I've heard so many times how folks get hired despite their NSFW stuff. If I'm able to get some sort of freelancer job working on, say, Helluvah Boss or some indie game, then that'd be cool. Other than the NSFW/fetish stuff, most that I'd likely make will be shitpost, reanimated clips, or animating to audio clips from, say, OneyPlays.

But I'm just rambling at this point. It's one thing to say something but it's another to actually DO it. I think this serves as just a tangible goal for myself. I'd love to look back at this and be like "Wow, I actually did some animation stuff. That's cool!"
